Walking from the center of Shizuoka to Kiyomizu Park in the east, I happened across the entrance to a temple, and decided to go inside for a look. It's only small and didn't take me long to get around, but I found a peaceful graveyard with some serene statues, among them the Kannon, the Buddhist goddess of mercy.

I really love the 10th photo!
I do sometimes find these cute little baby Buddhas at temples. At another temple in Shizuoka there's a whole load of them on the lawn!
