On our second day since arriving in Japan, from Tokyo we drove to the nearby city of Yokohama. We were scheduled to visit the Cup Noodle Museum but since it was still a bit too early we walked around and we ended up in the Minato Mirai 21 area. It was very picturesque, clean and modern (well, duh, it's Japan)! The waterfront was adorned with cherry blossoms and is perfect for strolling around especially now during the spring time. You would not get bored because there is an abundance of shopping centers, restaurants, and even a theme park. Yokohama would be a perfect place to go to if you want to get away from the seriousness of Tokyo and just enjoy a sunny day.

Wouldn't you be amazed when you come across this scene?
Sun shining bright and cherry blossoms in full bloom = best combo ever
The allure of cherry blossoms against the modern infrastructures truly captures Japan's springtime essence.
I wouldn't mind just sitting in the grass all day
Self-portrait because the background was just too irresistible not to capture
Just waiting for the sakura to fall on my face hahaha
