Morooka Park

Running track with mountain views

Especially at sunset you'll have a nice mountain view

One round is 650 meters

In autumn you'll see the trees turning red and yellow

The track is mostly flat but offers some slopes for better exercise

Fukuoka Airport is not far from the park and you can see planes departing and arriving

The track is for walking only, no need to watch out for bikes

If you're staying a bit south of Hakata Station and looking for a nice park to work out, I can recommend Morooka Koen. There's a running track 650 meters long that forms a loop around a lake. You can enjoy a nice mountain view and see the reflection of the sun in the water at sunset while you're burning off calories. Morooka Koen is close to Sasabaru Station, two stops from Hakata Station.

This looks amazing, I can't wait to visit Japan now! I love fitness and looking at the pictures I think I can easily motivate myself to go for a run.
